The RABS (Restricted Access Barrier System) laminar flow system is an integrated solution for providing an aseptic environment in critical areas of pharmaceutical production. The system is built using existing modules and new components, including a rotary carousel for internal material transfer, sealed partitions, glove ports, and parameter control with audit trail recording.

Full description

Laminar flow system with RABS integration DP1000.08.00.00.000 is a reconstructed laminar flow system that has been adapted to GMP class A requirements through a deep modernization and integration of RABS technology. As a result of the work performed:

  • Part of the existing equipment (frames and filters) was retained.
  • New laminar flow modules were installed.
  • RABS-frame with vertica airflow was integrated.
  • Glove ports were installed for isolated access to the work area.
  • A rotary carousel was added for aseptic transfer of materials without disturbing the environment.
  • Indication, touch control, door locking and audit trail system were implemented.

The system provides a barrier between the operator
and the product, access control and compliance with the highest sterility and safety requirements.
