The long-slot perforated ampoule cassette with lid is a fully welded process assembly consisting of a perforated body and a precisely fitted cover featuring a matching perforation layout. The system is engineered for operation under cyclic thermal exposure, saturated steam sterilization, hot air treatment, and repeated contact with cleaning solutions.
The optimized geometry of the elongated slots creates a directed flow pattern for sterilizing agents, enabling uniform temperature distribution and efficient condensate evacuation. This configuration minimizes the formation of stagnant zones, reduces localized glass overheating, and prevents residual moisture retention following sanitation cycles.
The removable lid secures ampoules within the cassette, preventing displacement during transport, autoclaving, or transfer along automated production lines. The interface between the body and lid is engineered to ensure dimensional alignment and close seating without generating hidden cavities or inaccessible areas.
The unit is manufactured from AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel, selected according to cleanroom classification and chemical exposure requirements. All welds are executed using TIG (GTAW) technology with controlled heat input to eliminate distortion and maintain structural integrity. Post-weld treatment includes edge finishing, removal of micro-irregularities, and chemical passivation to restore the protective oxide layer and enhance corrosion resistance.
Internal transition radii are increased in accordance with hygienic design principles. The structure eliminates dead zones and inaccessible sections, facilitating validated cleaning procedures and reducing microbiological contamination risk.
These cassettes are utilized in washing, sterilization, depyrogenation, visual inspection, and intermediate storage stages. The design is compatible with autoclaves, tunnel sterilizers, and automated pharmaceutical conveying systems.
