The longitudinally perforated ampoule cassette is a fully welded process assembly featuring perforated side panels and base, engineered for operation under cyclic thermal and chemical loads. The slot geometry is specifically developed to provide directed distribution of sterilizing steam, heated air, and cleaning solutions, reducing turbulence zones and preventing localized temperature gradients within the load area.

Elongated slot perforation creates an optimized balance between structural rigidity and media permeability. This configuration allows uniform exposure of ampoules to sterilizing agents during autoclaving and tunnel sterilization while accelerating residual moisture removal after washing cycles. As a result, the risk of glass microfractures, stress concentration, and secondary contamination is significantly reduced.

The cassette is manufactured from AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel, selected according to cleanroom classification and chemical aggressiveness of the operating environment. All welds are executed using TIG (GTAW) technology with controlled heat input to prevent distortion and maintain dimensional stability. Post-weld processing includes edge finishing and chemical passivation to restore the protective oxide layer and enhance corrosion resistance.

Internal transitions incorporate enlarged radii to eliminate particle retention areas and simplify hygienic cleaning procedures. The perforated structure promotes rapid liquid evacuation and shortened drying cycles. The design contains no enclosed cavities or inaccessible zones, fully aligning with hygienic engineering principles applied in pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing.
