The 1200×800 mm pallet is a welded spatial structure incorporating a longitudinal load-bearing system and a reinforced frame perimeter. The 1200×800 European footprint ensures compatibility with standard pallet logistics while allowing safe use in environments requiring elevated cleanliness levels.
Load-bearing profiles are engineered for uniform distribution of static and dynamic forces with an appropriate safety factor. Beam geometry and spacing are defined to control deflection during long-term operation, including cyclic handling and loading from containers, cassettes, sterilization baskets and finished goods.
The pallet is applied in raw material preparation, filling, packaging, quarantine storage and internal transportation of pharmaceutical products. The design allows exposure to disinfectants, alcohol-based agents and cleaning compounds used in validated SOP procedures.
Manufactured from AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel depending on cleanroom classification and environmental aggressiveness, the pallet features TIG-welded joints with controlled heat input to minimize residual stresses. Post-weld treatment includes mechanical finishing and surface passivation to restore corrosion resistance.
The open grid configuration promotes effective drainage after washing, rapid drying and elimination of moisture retention zones. The structure avoids enclosed cavities and inaccessible areas in accordance with hygienic design standards for pharmaceutical equipment.
Support geometry and height are optimized for pallet truck operation and internal transport systems. Fork entry dimensions and load capacity are defined during the engineering phase based on operational requirements.
