Description

A material transfer airlock is equipment for providing barrier separation between areas with different cleanliness classes in pharmaceutical production. It provides a directed vertical flow of purified air and a controlled door locking mode. It is manufactured individually according to the customer's specifications.

Full description

The material transfer airlock is designed to transfer materials between areas with different levels of cleanliness without breaking the hygienic barrier. Air is drawn in from the clean side through a HEPA filter, then it is fed vertically into the internal volume of the gateway, creating a protective air barrier, and is discharged to the side with a lower cleanliness class.

The structure is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The equipment is equipped with:

  • Ebmpapst fan,
  • H14 class HEPA filter,
  • light indicators,
  • automatic door locking system,
  • electromagnetic locks,
  • MAGNEHELIC differential pressure gauge,
  • three validation ports (Clamp DIN 32676).

The airlock can be integrated into the wall or mounted separately.
