Full description

Pharmaceutical Stainless Steel Drying Rack for Cleanroom Use

The drying rack is designed for controlled gravity drying of tools, laboratory glassware, change parts, and format components after washing and disinfection processes in classified production areas. The structure enables unrestricted airflow around items and eliminates moisture retention zones, reducing the risk of secondary contamination.

The frame is manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel grade AISI 304 or AISI 316L, selected according to environmental and chemical exposure conditions. Load-bearing elements are fabricated from structural tubing with TIG welding, followed by weld grinding and passivation. Surface finish is brushed or electropolished with roughness controlled in accordance with project specifications.

Shelf sections are formed from calibrated rods or profiled elements with calculated spacing determined by load and geometry of stored components.

The open design provides:

  • uniform air circulation;
  • accelerated evaporation of residual moisture;
  • direct visual cleanliness inspection;
  • elimination of horizontal surfaces that retain water.

Allowable distributed load per tier is individually calculated (typical range 80–150 kg per level in standard configuration).

Depending on facility layout, the unit can be supplied as:

  • stationary version with adjustable feet for floor leveling;
  • mobile configuration equipped with industrial swivel castors and brake locks.

The structural geometry eliminates enclosed cavities and inaccessible areas, facilitating sanitary cleaning and complying with hygienic design principles.

Number of tiers (3–7), vertical spacing, overall dimensions, and optional accessories are defined by technical specification and cleanroom layout.
