Stainless Steel Rack with Three-Sided Safety Rails for Clean Areas

The rack is engineered for controlled placement of equipment, cassettes, containers, and tooling within production environments with regulated cleanliness levels (ISO Class 7–8 or equivalent). Rear and side safety rails create a protected storage perimeter, preventing displacement of items under dynamic loads, equipment vibration, or personnel movement.

The load-bearing frame is manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316L according to chemical exposure conditions. Structural element thickness is determined by calculation (typically 1.5–2.0 mm). Welded joints are produced using TIG welding followed by finishing and passivation. The surface is ground or electropolished with controlled roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μm to facilitate sanitary cleaning.

Shelves may be configured as solid or perforated panels. The structure is designed for distributed loads up to 60–120 kg per level, depending on dimensions and project requirements. Frame geometry eliminates enclosed cavities and contamination-prone areas in accordance with hygienic engineering principles.

Two configuration options are available:

  • stationary version with height-adjustable supports for floor compensation;
  • mobile version equipped with industrial swivel castors with brake locking.

Number of levels (2–5), tier spacing, and overall dimensions are defined based on facility layout and material flow logistics.
